I coached chess at São Paulo Boxing Gym from 1998 to 2011. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.

If you played for me, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
