I taught social studies at Brooklyn Girls' School in Brooklyn from 2018 to 2025. Most days I taught first-year students, and my door was open at lunch.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Wafa
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Wafa: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
