I teach music and environmental science at Cairo Secondary School, Cairo. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Wafa
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
