I taught mathematics at Frangipani Grammar School in Leicester from 1987 to 2016. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 580 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Vivian
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
