Vivian Blessing Okafor
Taught mathematics at Oakwood High School
- 🇳🇬 Epe, Lagos, Nigeria
- Oakwood High School
- 1989 to 2017
- English, Hausa
For 28 years I was the mathematics teacher at Oakwood High School. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Vivian
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
