Vitaly Dmytro Yakovlev
Master of shoemaking, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇦 Kyiv, Kyiv, Ukraine
- Kyiv Repairs
- Since 2013
- English, Russian
I'm a shoemaking specialist. If you live around Kyiv, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Vitaly
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Vitaly: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
