I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 13 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 380 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Vishal
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Vishal: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
