I've volunteered with Phoenix Mutual Aid since 2018. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
I'm not an expert in anything, I just show up. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Vishal: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
