Viral G. Savla
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Surat, Gujarat, India
- Since 1978
- English
I've worked in pottery since 1978. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 1,300 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Viral
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Viral: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
