Viraj Isuru Rajapaksa
Oud player and teacher in Colombo
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Colombo Band
- Since 1995
- English, Sinhala
I play oud and singing. I started in 1995 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.

If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.
What gifts mean to Viraj: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
