Violet T. Henry
Teacher at Crown Boys' School, loves English literature
- 🇬🇧 Derry, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
- Since 2007
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 19 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I play music while people worked.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Violet
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Violet: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
