I coached football at Chandler Jacaranda Swimming Club from 1992 to 2014. Most of my players were between 11 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I garden badly but happily.

What gifts mean to Violet: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
