Violet Martin
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇦🇺 Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia
- 2011 to 2022
- English
For eleven years I ran the chess program at Newcastle Boxing Gym in Newcastle. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Violet: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
