Auto repair for eight years in Portland
- 🇺🇸 Portland, Oregon, United States
- Old Portland Works
- 2003 to 2011
- English
I've worked in auto repair from 2003 to 2011. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 420 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 18 years later for another job.
More about Violet
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

You fixed our roof in 2017 and charged half what others asked. Greetings from Beersheba.
