Vino Imam Tan
Home economics and mathematics teacher, Jakarta
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Jakarta Primary School
- 2013 to 2023
- English, Indonesian
I taught home economics at Jakarta Primary School in Jakarta from 2013 to 2023. Most days I taught Year 7, and I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 430 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Vino
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Vino: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
