Vinícius Caio Alves

30 years teaching Spanish in Niterói

🇧🇷 Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Niterói Grammar School
Since 1981
Portuguese, French

I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 45 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I've coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Vinícius

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
