Vinayak A. Deshpande
Teacher at Bayview High School, loves statistics

For 24 years I have been the statistics teacher at Bayview High School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 580 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Vinayak
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
