Vilai Uthai Onsri

Coached cross country for 20 years in Pattaya

  • 🇹🇭 Pattaya, Chonburi, Thailand
  • 1982 to 2002
  • English, Thai
I coached cross country at Pattaya Kingsway Athletic Club from 1982 to 2002. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never once raised my voice.

More about Vilai

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Vilai: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
