Vikas B. Garg
Mentor in teaching and engineering
- 🇮🇳 Rohini, Delhi, India
- Holy Cross Youth Network
- Since 1996
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,800 people through Holy Cross Youth Network.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Vikas
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Vikas: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
