I've spent 47 years as a lecturer in literature at Southampton State University in Southampton. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
My door was open at lunch. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
More about Vijay
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
