I've coached badminton at Stonebridge Football Club since 2003. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
What gifts mean to Vijay: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
