I've spent 37 years as a lecturer in sociology at St. Anne's University in Varanasi. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Vihaan
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Vihaan: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
