Việt Giang Lam
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇻🇳 Cầu Giấy, Hanoi, Vietnam
- Riverside Works
- 1982 to 1996
- English
My trade is welding. I opened my own shop in 1982 in Cầu Giấy and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I make terrible puns.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Việt: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
