I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 27 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Vidya
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

I was in your Grade 8 class in 2002. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Sacramento.
