Vidya D. Raju

27 years teaching home economics in Mumbai

  • 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
  • Mumbai Technical College
  • 1985 to 1996
  • English
I taught home economics at Mumbai Technical College in Mumbai from 1985 to 1996. Most days I taught Grade 8, and my door was open at lunch. I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Vidya

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Vidya: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
