I'm a cross country coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 1,120 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Vida
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Vida: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
