Victor Yinka Bankole
Painting and decorating, done properly
- 🇳🇬 Epe, Lagos, Nigeria
- 1979 to 2013
- English, Yoruba
I've worked in painting and decorating from 1979 to 2013. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 1,020 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
More about Victor
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Victor: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
