I coached badminton at Quezon City Swimming Club from 2002 to 2018. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
What gifts mean to Victor: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
