Victor Kariuki Nakamya
13 years teaching civil engineering at Mombasa State University
- 🇰🇪 Mombasa, Mombasa, Kenya
- Mombasa State University
- Since 1995
- English, Swahili
My subject is civil engineering, and for 31 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Mombasa State University.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm always reading two books at once.
What gifts mean to Victor: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.

Thank you for the extension in 2004. I never forgot it. Greetings from Tokyo.
