I taught statistics at Harbor Girls' School in Ikeja from 1982 to 2016. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 850 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
