I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
