I've been a nurse for 30 years, most of them in neonatal care at Redwood Maternity Hospital in Saint Petersburg. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
