I've coached chess at St. Anne's Community Club since 2002. Most of my players were between 8 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Verónica
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
