Verónica N. Fuentes
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇪🇸 Valencia, Valencian Community, Spain
- 1999 to 2023
- Spanish, French
I've worked in blacksmithing from 1999 to 2023. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 1,390 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Verónica: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
