Venkatesh W. Varma
Mentor in farming and first-generation students
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Since 2009
- English, Tamil, French
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 610 people through Orchid Association.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Venkatesh
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Venkatesh: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
