Venkatesh R. Pai
Carpentry for 14 years in Udaipur
- 🇮🇳 Udaipur, Rajasthan, India
- Little Acacia Shop
- 1990 to 2004
- English, Malayalam
My trade is carpentry. I opened my own shop in 1990 in Udaipur and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Venkatesh: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
