Venkat P. Kamath

Woodcarving artist in New Delhi

  • 🇮🇳 New Delhi, Delhi, India
  • Old New Delhi Print Workshop
  • Since 2000
  • English
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes calligraphy. My first show was in 2000 at Old New Delhi Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I take the work seriously, though not myself. My studio is always a bit of a mess.

More about Venkat

I've had 4 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Venkat: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
