I coached hockey at Beacon Community Club from 1994 to 2007. Most of my players were between 9 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.
More about Venkat
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
