Venkat Chettiar
Master of auto repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India
- Agra Works
- Since 1981
- English
I've worked in auto repair since 1981. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 1,760 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.

What gifts mean to Venkat: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
