Vasanthi S. Mohan
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Hyderabad, Telangana, India
- Old Rosewood Trades Guild
- 2013 to 2023
- English, Telugu
I've worked in weaving from 2013 to 2023. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 580 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
What gifts mean to Vasanthi: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
