Vasanthi P. Rathnam
Self-taught oil painting artist
- 🇮🇳 Amritsar, Punjab, India
- Amritsar Pottery
- Since 2007
- English, Kannada
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes printmaking. My first show was in 2007 at Amritsar Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Vasanthi
I've had 10 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Vasanthi: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
