I taught Spanish at Pune Primary School in Pune from 1993 to 2013. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 1,180 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Vasanthi
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Vasanthi: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
