For 37 years I've run the cricket program at St. Mary's Sports Club in Udaipur. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Vasanthi: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
