I've coached cross country at Aberdeen Youth Club since 1985. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Varun
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
