Varsha T. Rathnam
Professor of civil engineering, Mangaluru University
- 🇮🇳 Mangaluru, Karnataka, India
- Mangaluru University
- Since 2003
- English, Tamil
My subject is civil engineering, and for 23 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Mangaluru University.
Former students now work as a shop assistant and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Varsha
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Varsha: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
