I've coached rowing at Bayview Community Club since 1995. Most of my players were between 12 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
What gifts mean to Vanessa: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
