Valerio Mattia De Santis
English literature and music teacher, Palermo
- 🇮🇹 Palermo, Sicily, Italy
- Heritage Public School
- 1991 to 2023
- Italian
For 32 years I was the English literature teacher at Heritage Public School. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Valerio: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
