I've been a nurse for 20 years, most of them in palliative care at Baobab Maternity Hospital in Zaporizhzhia. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
