I teach early years at Baobab Middle School in Burnaby since 1985. Most days I teach the final-year class, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Valentina
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
