I coached basketball at Laval Heritage Athletic Club from 2008 to 2016. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight.
More about Valentina
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Valentina: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
